Cirava early
Reference : CIRAG
Probably the earliest table vine in the world just 1 week before the Maïga, of Latvian origin, sold in a 3 liter pot, about 40 -50 cm high (Much earlier than the Csaba pearl, considered as the earliest vinifera). Breeder: Gunvaldis Vesmins.

Marketed for the first time, it is, to our knowledge, the only table grape vine (with Maïga) capable of reaching maturity in the upper Ardennes (500m altitude) at the beginning of September. Its resistance to winter cold is estimated at -23 degrees.

It produces medium-sized clusters (200 to 250 g), rather loose, bearing berries about 22 mm in diameter, green-yellow, very sweet (20° Brix when ripe), muscatel with a floral aroma, delicious. This mervellous and unique taste is inherited from its ancestor, the "muscat fleur d'oranger".

In the upper Ardennes, it is resistant to mildew and powdery mildiew.

The hardening of the vine shoots is excellent even in the upper Ardennes.

More observations will be provided in the following years.
