Young grapevine ready to bear fruits sold in 3 Litres container. About 50 - 70 cm tall. Breeder: Elmer Swenson
A seedless grapevine with a very good disease resistance. Originating from Wisconsin- USA, where the winters are really rigorous, it has exceptional resistance to cold (-35 degrees Celsius!).
Very early maturity, grapes in small clusters are delicious, very sweet (up to 25° Brix), foxy and fruity. It grows everywhere outside in Belgium, but can sometime have a poor berry set if the meteo is cold and rainy when it blooms. The grapes keep for a long time on the vine.
In North America, where it has a big success, it is propagated by cuttings, while phylloxera is very present. Therefore, it is very probably resistant to it.
Available in limited amounts.
